The hostess of our gathering, Shannon is a spinner and knitter extraordinaire. Her work is the embodiment of her keen sense of color, creativity, and technical proficiency beyond most of our wildest knitting dreams.

John Brandsberg's evocotive monotypes are sensitive and subtle renderings of the human face and figure.

Artist Profile: Branda Tiffany — Molly Muriel

Tired of the mass-produced, synthetic based soaps that saturate the market, Branda Tiffany created an all-natural alternative that is great for your skin, the environment, and human-kind, and named her company Molly Muriel. Branda's soaps are created with high quality vegetable oils, pure essential oils for their scent and healing qualities, natural mineral pigment and organic ingredients for color. Shannon of Ruby Girl has always been "crafty," but started making jewelry a couple of years ago and hasn't looked back! Shannon loves everything about the process of jewelry-making, and it shows!

For Tay MacIntyre, inspiration comes from simple things: Vintage kitchen tools, old botanical illustrations, seed pods that fall in her path on daily walks with her dog, the swirls of debris left by the wind and water on the beach. Twirl Studio reflects her love of details, history, and metalwork.

Jesseca McCloskey of Paper Treasure designs one-of-a-kind blank books, wallets and bags, as well as jewelry. Her lovely, handmade goods are made primarily with recycled materials.

Jessica Poundstone of Jewelry By Jessica is a writer and illustrator who also makes hand-drawn and painted jewelry using shrink plastic. Her pendants and earrings are like little pieces of art you can wear!

Artist Profile: Laurie Carroll — Elsiegirl Designs

Laurie Carroll of Elsiegirl Designs makes beautiful and whimsical hand-embroidered clothing for babies and grown-ups from her own embroidery designs. Laurie enjoys living in the Northwest; one of her designs even features the French phrase "J'aime la pluie" (I love the rain).

Artist Profie: Larissa Friesen — Elaborations

Larissa Friesen of Elaborations has been sewing since she was eleven! She's currently making purses, bibs, and wallets, as well as "yarning things up" — adding decorative yarn embellishments to clothes.
